The Buckinghamshire Golf Club

John Jacobs has designed a pleasant course constructed on open parkland with some mature trees alongside and crossed by two rivers that come into play on seven of the first 12 holes. Definition is supplied by high sculptured mounds alongside fairways. The fast, true greens and perfect fairways emphasise the quality of construction which led to European Senior Tour and world championship tournaments being staged. But it’s tough, especially from the full length of 6,880 yards, par 72. Three of the four par threes are long and it is a test for even the best players from the back tees.Greens of up to 40 meters long make planning an approach shot so important depending on the pin position.

Turn immediately right at the mini round about and immediately left at the next mini-roundabout. This brings you to Denham Court Drive (also signed Denham Country Park). Buckinghamshire Golf Club is at the top of Denham Court Drive. Drive up to the black wrought iron gates slowly and they will open automatically. From London on the A40: Where the A40 becomes the M40 leave it at Junction1 (signposted to Gerrards Cross) At the bottom of the slip road, turn right at the traffic lights and right again at the mini roundabout. This brings you to Denham Court Drive (also signed Denham Country Park). Buckinghamshire Golf Club is at the top of Denham Court Drive. Drive up to the black wrought iron gates slowly and they will open automatically.
