Bearwood Lakes Golf Club

Bearwood Lakes, designed by Martin Hawtree in 1996 on the estate of a beautiful Jacobean-style mansion, is an outstanding course that has made full use of the established parkland, tripping through mature trees with skilfully designed and cleverly routed holes. Natural lakes span more than 50 acres and the feature water holes are the 13th and 14th where straight, bold tee-shots are essential. The course is always immaculately presented, the fairways are generous in width, the well bunkered greens are like glass in the summer. Each hole has its special characteristics and there is not a weak one among them as you pass through the heath and forest observing the wildlife and scenery.
