Duff House Royal Golf Club

Duff House was planned by James Braid in 1910 before Alister Mackenzie redesigned it in 1923. It is a flat, beautifully manicured parkland course with little rough and big two-tiered greens. The emphasis is placed on natural beauty rather than artificial features. There are no steep hills on the undulating fairways and few blind approach shots. There is always an alternative route for those not wishing to take risks over long carries. Two feature holes are the seventh, a 460-yard par four along the River Deveron to a sloping green and the attractive par-three 172-yard ninth with the river on the left and bunkers around the green.
