Gardens in or near Kingswear

The South Devon village of Kingswear is located opposite Dartmouth on the River Dart, with spectacular views of Dartmouth harbour. There are three ferries which operate between Kingswear and Dartmouth. The Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway operates from here and runs from Easter to October and is a very popular tourist attraction. The Royal Dart Yacht Club is based there. Kingswear Castle which was a coastal artillery tower built between 1491-1502 stands on the entrance to the Dart Estuary opposite Dartmouth Castle.
