Glansevern Hall Gardens

The gardens surround Glansevern Hall, a Greek Revival house, set in wider parkland alongside the River Severn, and one is always within sight or sound of water - river, fountains, 4 acre lake and large water garden. The walled garden has been ingeniously divided into compartments separated by hornbeam hedges and ornamental ironwork and the vast rock garden conceals a walk-through grotto. There are beautiful walkways through woodland or along the banks of the Severn and the gardens are noted for their variety of unusual trees. The old stable block houses a delightful tearoom with delicious home-cooked food.
