The National Botanic Garden of Wales

Created within 568 acres of beautiful parkland, The National Botanic Garden of Wales is home to a unique collection of over 100,000 different plants and the largest single-span Glasshouse in the world, designed by Lord Foster, which houses an acclaimed collection of Mediterrean climate plants from regions of the world. A necklace of lakes surrounds the central garden and a 220 metre herbaceous border - one of the longest in Europe - forms the spine of the Garden from the entrance, past the doubled walled garden, through deep flower borders, past fountains and pools and along a geological time walk through the Welsh nation.
