Dyffryn Botanic Garden


Dyffryn Botanic Garden are outstanding Grade I listed Edwardian gardens. Currently undergoing restoration to Thomas Mawson®s original 1904 design with the help of a Heritage Lottery grant. This garden has everything - formal lawns, fountains and pools, seasonal beds, trees and shrubs, rose garden, statuary, garden rooms, including Pompeian, Paved Court and Theatre gardens. An arboretum contains trees from all over the world including 13 champions.

Opening Times: All year, Daily 10:00-18:00, Oct to Mar 10:00-17:00.
Admission: Mar to Oct, Adult £6.00, Child/Concession £2.00. Nov-Apr, Adult £3.00, Child £1.00, Child (under 5) Free.
Location: Five miles north of Cardiff. Exit J33 from M4, on the A4232, signed Barry. 1st interchange, 4th exit A48 signed Cowbridge. In St Nicholas turn left, Dyffryn is sinposted.
