Priorwood Garden is a specialist centre for the craft of dried flower arranging. Most of the flowers are grown for this purpose and the colourful selection brings variety to the arrangements made here. You can also learn more about this fascinating craft as there is ongoing drying most of the time. Otherwise you can simply enjoy the blossoms, especially in spring, or pause for a summer picnic within sight of the ruins of Melrose Abbey. The garden also includes an orchard where you can see historic apple varieties being grown organically.

Opening Times: Garden: 23 Mar to 31 Oct, Mon to Sat, 10:00-17:00, Sun 13:00-17:00, 1 Nov to 24 Dec, Mon to Sat, 10:00-16:00.
Admission: NTS/NT Members Free. Please see NTS website for admission prices.
Child Friendly:  Children of all ages welcome
Dog Friendly: No
Location: On the A68 Jedburgh Road, signposted for Melrose. Off the A6091, in Melrose adjacent to Abbey Cycle.
