Brodsworth Hall & Gardens

At Brodsworth Hall & Gardens you can gain a fascinating insight into the fashions, desires and changing fortunes of the Victorian country gentry at this once opulent Hall. The 15 acres of garden, a collection of grand gardens in miniature, are a rare survival from the Victorian Age and have been restored to their 1860s heyday, following a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Against a backdrop of enchanting features like the summerhouse, pleasure grounds, fernery and fountain centrepieces, the pathways wind through carpets of spring snowdrops, the dazzling laburnum arch, rainbows of period summer bedding and the seasonal delight of winter evergreens.
