Castle Howard Gardens

The Castle Howard gardens and park are breathtaking throughout the seasons and, with many diverse areas to explore, you can find peace and tranquillity whichever path they choose. Enjoy extensive walks through woodlands, formal gardens, along terraces or beside water, and view the buildings and sculptures in the landscape. The unique collection of old roses, rhododendrons, magnolias and azaleas, the Walled Garden and Ray Wood replanted with over 2 tonnes of daffodil bulbs, will impress keen horticulturists and amateurs alike. In the Boar Garden two and a half tonnes of daffodils and 10,000 small spring bulbs are planted to provide a variety of colour for early March.
