Lytes Cary Manor garden

Lytes Cary Manor is a simple garden in Elizabethan style once the home of medieval herbalist Henry Lyte. The main border was designed by plantsman Graham Stuart Thomas, with a mixture of shrubs, roses and perennials. There are also lawns, hedges of Yew and Hornbeam and a little Topiary. The large orchard containing Medlars and Quinces has a central sundial, naturalised bulbs and mown paths.
