Barrington Court garden
Barrington Court garden created by Gertrude Jekyll in 1917 towards the end of her career, is a garden of different character rooms. The `hot´ room is planted with Lilies, Dahlias and vibrant orange, red and yellow annuals around a pool. There is also a `cool´ room of white-flowering and grey-leaved plants. A substantial pergola supports Wisteria, Clematis and Honeysuckles. The magnificent walled kitchen garden contains a wide variety of fruit and vegetables. A cider orchard can be found further afield.
