Hawkstone Historic Park & Follies garden


The gardens at Hawkestone Park Follies is a unique tourist attraction that covers over 100 acres of parkland. It was created in the 18th century and has intricate pathways, caves, tunnels, bridges, arches, moss-covered gloomy ravines, terrifying cliff-top grottoes, mysterious woodland of centuries old oaks, lofty monkey puzzles, a holographic hermit in one of the thatched buildings and wild rhododendrons. It takes approximately three and a half hours to walk the full route offering delight and excitement with stunning views of the Shropshire countryside and beyond - sensible clothing and footwear is needed.
