Hodsock Priory and its garden are in the centre of the 800 acre Hodsock Estate which has been owned by the Buchanan family since 1765. The Snowdrop Gardens are open each year with a half-mile walk in the woods with carpets of snowdrops along with winter flowering borders.

The Top Twenty Places to see Snowdrops by Natalie French

"Take a woodland walk through 12 acres of snowdrops at Hodsock Priory Garden in Worksop. Afterwards, you can retreat to the new under-canvas Snowdrop village, located out front of the magnificent 19th century house. Make the most of free tours and talks, a plant sale and gift shop, or relax in the luxury Tea Room."

Ten Beautiful Gardens to Visit While it's Still Winter by Veronica Peerless

"The grounds of this 19th century house are home to one of the best displays of snowdrops in the country – it’s awash with carpets of them from early February. Its snowdrop celebrations are now bigger than ever and there’s an alfresco Snowdrop Village that hosts talks, a tearoom, gift shop and plant sales. There’s also a Woodland Café and children’s play area."
