Groombridge Place Gardens

Originally laid out in the 17th century, Groombridge Place Gardens was unseen for three hundred years except by a favoured few. Designed as outside rooms of the House, over the centuries new plants and trees have been introduced. Beautiful wrought iron gates and stone urns along with the Knot Garden, White Garden and the Peacock Walk are all 20th century additions . Admire the gorgeous blooms and shapely evergreens, wander the pathways and explore their beauty with heady scents and shaded arbours.
