Godinton House & Gardens
Godinton House and Gardens are set in a beautiful 18th century landscaped park with views across the countryside. The formal gardens include terraced lawns, topiary, formal pond, rose garden and herbaceous borders all surrounded by a vast yew hedge and ornamented with impressive statuary. A small walled Italian garden with central fountain and scented Mediterranean planting makes a peaceful haven looking out over the wild garden which is a mass of daffodils, fritillaries and other spring flowers. The walled kitchen garden contains delphinium borders, making a stunning display in early summer, there is also a new greenhouse and cutting garden.
