Belmont Park garden
Belmont Park gardens date from the 1790s and consist of a walled garden, pinetum, wooded areas, large formal lawns and a large kitchen garden. The walled garden is situated behind the clock tower and contains long borders with a variety of plants both annual and perennial. The pinetum to the west of the walled garden contains a variety of trees planted over the years by the Harris family. It is also the site of a charming Victorian Shell Grotto which contains fine examples of fossilised Aconites.
