Open all year, Bedgebury is the perfect place to walk, cycle, ride or play in a spectacular world of trees. Bedgebury´s National Pinetum, host to a world-class collection of dramatic conifers, is a beautiful and peaceful place to walk in all seasons. The two thousand acres of Bedgebury Forest now offer miles of family cycling, mountain-biking, riding, walking and adventure play for all ages and abilities. The Visitor Centre has a restaurant, showers, an education/community room and a seperate cycle franchise. As a location for healthy outdoor activity in a beautiful setting, Bedgebury is in a class of its own. Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest, which is part of the Forestry Commission, has recently received a Growing Schools Garden Award. This recognises Bedgebury as a site that offers a high quality education provision. Winter is a magical time at Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest. Escape from the shops, gather up your friends and family, wrap up warm and get into the Christmas spirit this year at Bedgebury. The National Pinetum looks wonderful in its winter coat and the forest is full of fun things to do for all the family - walking, cycling, adventure play.
