East Bergholt Place garden
East Bergholt Place, set in 20 acres, is a wonderful garden and arboretum. Originally laid out at the beginning of the 20th century by the present owners Great Grandfather and described as a `Cornish Garden in Suffolk´. With a marvellous collection of unusual plants, rhododendrons, camellias, magnolias, shrubs and fine trees, many originating from the renowned plant collector George Forrest and particularly beautiful in spring. An excellent specialist plant centre can be found in the Victorian walled garden.
