Buckland Abbey garden

Buckland Abbey and gardens are the home of Drake and Grenville. A peaceful place full of swashbuckling stories, originally created in the 20th century. You will find a magnificent 30-metre-long monastic barn, a charming herb garden with over 50 different culinary and medicinal herbs, delightful estate walks with breathtaking views of Devon and Cornwall and craft workshops. Recent developments include new interpretive exhibitions and displays, and the creation of an Elizabethan garden with its topiary bushes, box-edged beds, Tudor period plants and a small orchard.
