Dalemain is a delightful and fascinating 5 acre Lake District garden, just two miles from Ullswater and provides a haven of tranquillity. Richly planted herbaceous borders, Rose Walk with over 100 old-fashioned roses and ancient apple trees of named varieties. Magnificent Abies Cephalonica, Tulip Tree and a Tudor Knot garden. The Wild Garden has a profusion of flowering shrubs and wild flowers, in early summer there are breathtaking display of Himalayan Poppies. Take a glorious woodland walk high above Dacre Beck. Whether you are a keen gardener or an enthusiastic amateur, you are sure to find many delights in this garden.
