Cotehele garden

Cotehele is a 19 acre large mature garden in two separate parts. The upper gardens surrounding the 16th century house contain a daffodil meadow, a formally planted terraced garden defined by walls and hedges, with magnolias, climbers, fine lawns, herbaceous borders and a pool. The sheltered woodland valley garden, at its best in late spring and early summer, stretching down towards the River Tamar with dovecotes, 18th century tower, unusual shrubs, rhododendrons, azaleas, and unusual trees. There are magnificent views from the hilltop behind the house.
