Dunham Massey garden

Dunham Massey, one of the North West´s great plantsman´s gardens with richly planted borders and majestic trees, as well as an 18th century orangery, Victorian bark-house and an old well-house. There is an unusual moss garden, bog gardens, winding shrubberies, azaleas, hydrangeas, blue poppies, hostas, rhums, giant lilies and rodgersias. A wide range of shade and moisture loving plants are set amongst the lawns, mixed borders and woodland. The ancient deer park contains a series of beautiful avenues and ponds and a Tudor mill, originally used for grinding corn but refitted as a sawmill c.1860 and now restored to working order.
