Mount Stewart House garden

This garden at Mount Stewart House is not to be missed, combining beauty and fun. The gardens contain a collection of statues of British political and public figures depicted as animals. Hot and cool colour rectangular beds can also be found here. The informal garden houses mature trees and shrubs, ferns, blue poppies, rhododendrons and masses of candelabra primulas to name but a few. Take a stroll along the lakeside path and admire the views over the lake to Mount Stewart House. There is always something to see throughout the year and warrants several visits.
