Picton Castle garden

Stroll beneath the woodland gardens at Picton Castle and find some of the tallest and oldest trees in west Wales along with an abundance of wild flowers and beautiful woodland shrubs from all corners of the world. Forty acres of woodland gardens include a unique collection of rhododendrons and rare species like myrtles, embothrium and eucryphia. There is also a maze, fern walk and a re-landscaped dewpond. The walled garden has an enchanting riot of colour during the summer months with an elegant fountain as a focal point, medicinal herbs, rose strewn arches and fascinating fernery.
