Brodick Castle Garden

The restoration of this garden at Brodick Castle began in the early 1900s and included planting of unusual species collected by great plant hunters like George Forrest. They include plants from China, Burma, the Himalayas and America. The bog garden has a fine display of primulas together with the formal walled garden with its herbaceous borders, annuals and roses. The gardens are well worth a visit at any time of year, though especially in spring when the famous collection of rhododendrons burst into full bloom. To make the most of your visit, and pick up a few gardening tips along the way, join one of the estate®s gardeners for a guided walk.
