Leonardslee lakes & gardens

Leonardslee lakes & gardens is a Grade I listed 240 acre valley with seven beautiful lakes. In May see the huge blooms of magnificent Magnolias, prize-winning camellias, breathtaking rhododendrons, bluebells and banks carpeted in daffodils. The Japanese azaleas in the Rock Garden become a kaleidoscope of colour. The fragrant deciduous azaleas take their turn to flower, their colours reflected in the water, while exotic Gunnera develop their massive leaves. In summer the wildflowers that thrive in this natural setting are a delight. Throughout the year see the wallabies, swans, deer and other wildlife, and also visit the one-twelth scale miniature exhibition `Beyond the dolls house´- newly extended sculpture for the garden exhibition.
