Blickling Hall garden

Blickling Hall has a delightful garden and park surrounding the Jacobean house. There is a Victorian sunken garden, remodelled by Norah Lindsay in the 1930´s. consisting of four colourful herbaceous beds and yew topiary around a 17th century fountain. Formal wilderness garden with radial walks lined by avenues of turkey oak, lime and beech. The northern wilderness area hides a charming secret garden with summerhouse, sundial and scented plants. Late 18th century orangery houses oranges and other citrus trees. Beyond the garden lies the wooded 18th century landscape park planted with oak, beech and sweet chestnuts and featuring a long man-made lake. Over 100,000 bulbs provide fabulous colour in the early spring.
