Goodnestone Park Gardens

The Walled Garden at Goodnestone Park, consists of three enclosures, an old fashioned rose garden with hardy geraniums and perennials, the summer garden with borders for summer flowering and the kitchen garden where borders are a mixture of fruits and vegetables. The Woodland Garden has been developed over many years, the winding paths reveal an array of trees and shrubs, the Parterre and Terraces, Box hedges, gravel and planted enclosures with views over the village cricket grounds. The Arboretum and Gravel Garden, has an outstanding collection of ornamental trees. Goodnestone Park has a wonderful selection of old trees, one of the most prominent being the ancient cedar of Lebanon. One of the 3 gardens in Kent to have the coveted 2 Stars from the Good Garden Guide. Came 6th in Daily Telegraph Poll on public favourite gardens.
