Audley End House & Gardens

Audley End House & Gardens has an artificial lake, created with water from the River Cam, running through delightful 18th century pastoral parkland designed by Capability Brown. The classical Temple of Concorde, built in 1790 in honour of George III, and the restored 19th century formal parterre garden of shrubs, perennials and annuals with its elaborately designed Haverbeds, dominate the views from the back of the house. An elysian garden with a water-meadow and cascade, also a thriving organic walled Victorian Kitchen Garden, cultivating produce organically grown on the estate, and a magnificent 17-foot long vine house are a highlight of any visit to Audley End Home & Gardens.
