Castle Hill Gardens

The beautiful woodland Castle Hill Gardens are planted with rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias and many fine shrubs and trees, set in an 18th century landscaped garden with temples, follies and ponds. Stroll through the Millenium Garden with its lavender edged herbaceous borders designed by Xa Tollemache and see the Topiary water sculpture by Giles Rayner, then across the terraces to the woodland paths and visit the splendid Castle with panoramic views to Exmoor, Dartmoor and Lundy Island. Teas on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Guided tours can be arranged, please call to pre-book.
