Moseley Old Hall garden

Moseley Old Hall´s garden has been re-created in the 17th century style. Includes a formal knot garden, a wooden arbour covered with clematis, neat box parterres, a walled garden with topiary and annual borders, an arched pergola hung with two varieties of vines and clematis viticella, and a nut walk. All plants and trees used were known in England in the 1700s. Included fruits are medlar, quince, mulbbery, cherry and various apples and pears. Many of the plants grown here would have originally been used for dyes, cleansing and medicinal purposes.
