Hardwick Hall garden

The four quadrants of Hardwick Hall gardens, are the herb garden, lawns, nuttery and orchards, conveying the spirit of an Elizabethan garden. Lead statues in yew alcoves; grass alleys flanked by yew and tall hedges of hornbeam hedges; holly domes to the western entrance to the herb garden, planted with chamomile, lavender, laurel and rue; mulberry walk and extensive herbaceous borders in the West Courtyard; sunken pond in the East Court; double avenue called The Wineglass´ that closes the eastern vista - all features that make Hardwick a magical garden. There is something to see throughout the season!
