Brantwood garden
Brantwood is a rocky hillside garden originally laid out 1870-1880s by John Ruskin. At the top is a viewing platform from which to see the fells. Below, paths wind their way through several different gardens, and a collection of ferns luxuriates underfoot. A zig-zag path follows Dante´s journey from Purgatory to Paradise.
