Lyme Park garden

Lyme Park is a 17 acre high-Victorian garden boasting impressive, colourful bedding schemes, an Edwardian rose garden, Jekyll-style herbaceous border of hot colours, a ravine garden with a stream, rhododendrons, azaleas, ferns, and a reflection lake, There is a fine orangery with two ancient camellias, a spectacular sunken Dutch garden with clipped box and ivy. The garden is surrounded by a medieval deer park of almost 1400 acres of moorland, woodland and parkland, containing an early 18th century hunting tower. See the 300-year-old lime avenue, and the collection of rare trees and plants.
