Anglesey Abbey garden
Anglesey Abbey has a hundred-acre garden developed from 1926 by the 1st Lord Fairhaven presenting an imposing blend of formal 17th century French-style and 18th century natural landscaping. Majestic tree-lined avenues and walks form framework for hidden, more formal gardens such as the dahlia garden, hyacinth garden and the semi-circular herbaceous garden. Lord Fairhaven“s impressive collection of statuary is positioned throughout the grounds and used as features in the garden layout. The Winter Walk takes pride of place between October and March, while the collection of snowdrops are internationally renowned, making a fantastic display in February.
