Tyntesfield garden

Tyntesfield, the original garden is thought to have been laid out in the 1840´s. Currently there is a huge restoration project underway to bring this impressive estate back to its former glory. The garden is Grade II* listed and is one of the top 500 parks and gardens in England. Divided into three ballustraded terraces and separated from the park by a ha-ha, originally surrounded by an impressive pleasure garden planted with trees and shrubs. The orangery and walled garden have survived intact although some restoration work is still required.
