Chiswick House garden

Chiswick House has an important early eighteenth century garden of trees, formal vistas and architectural ornament such as bridges, statuary, vases, and a sunken amphitheatre with temple and orange trees. There is flower colour too in an enclosed semicircular parterre, backed by a fine conservatory of old camellias.
