Escape from the hustle and bustle. Come and relax at Woodlands Farm a Grade II listed farmhouse dating back to the 18th Century, situated in a peaceful location with outstanding views and just over a mile from the market town of Sturminster Newton. The double bedroom overlooks the garden, with an en-suite bathroom looking onto a pretty courtyard. Breakfast is served in the dining room using eggs, which come from our chickens; the jams and bread are made by Alex. Bacon and sausages are sourced where possible from local butchers. There is a comfortable private sitting room with a TV and DVD.

Local directions: Woodlands Farm is just off the A357 approximately 1 mile from the traffic lights at the bridge over the River Stour at Sturminster Newton. Carry on along the main road from Sturminster Newton until you start to go up a hill past a farm on the right. 100 yards beyond the farm you will see a telegraph pole on the right hand side with a turing down a lane just beyond it. Take this turning and carry on to the end of the lane. If you are heading towards Sturminster Newton on the A357 you will come up a steep hill with a farm on the left hand side of the road (Road Lane Farm on the map below). 200 yards beyond this is a layby on the left. The turning into the lane to Woodlands Farm is a further 300 yards just before the telegraph pole.
