Whaddon Grove House, Berryfield Lane, Melksham, Wiltshire

Whaddon Grove House is a large country house in a beautiful rural area, set in the middle of a 30 acre field, yet it is within walking distance of the town of Melksham (25 mins) It has just had a major refurbishment to the house to a very high standard. There are four bedrooms to let, two large doubles with en-suites, one twin room with en-suite, and a twin room with its own private bathroom. We offer a fully heated swimming pool, and a large fully enclosed hotsprings hot tub with full back massage facilities. Most of our produce is sourced locally from local farm shops. If you like to cycle we are quite close to the Kennet & Avon Canal, where you can cycle one way to Bradford on Avon and onto Bath, or you can go up to Devizes where they have the famous locks at Caen Hill. Only a few miles from the famous village of Lacock, Castle Combe, the City of Bath, Longleat Safari Park, Stonehenge, and the City of Salisbury.

Local directions: From Melksham: follow the Semington Road onto the old A350, when you pass a small pub called The New Inn turn right into Berryfield Park. Drive along the edge of the Estate until you get to the end, then turn left. Drive down to the end of the road where you will see a sign for Elizabeth Close, fixed on that sign is our sign for Whaddon Grove House, drive past that sign and turn to the right, you are now one mile from the house, at the next property turn right (sign on wall), then take the next left (also a sign) and follow up to the house where you can park in the front yard by the house.
