Thimbles is a large country home set in the heart of East Sussex, close to the sea, the South Downs and many historical sites. We have 6 acres to enjoy which include a lake with an island where you may cook or relax in the hammock, we have a very large collection of roses, an orchard where our rare breed chickens live, we keep rare breed pigs from which we make our own sausages, dry cured and home oak smoked bacon. We grow almost all of our own vegetables. The house is decorated to a high standard, please see the photos on our website. Suppers can be arranged with advanced booking.
