Shropshire is full of amazing castles - and we also have a roman town and vineyard and some say the earliest evidence that King Arthur really existed)
Local directions:	Leave the M54 at junction 6, take the first roundabout exit marked “Ironbridge Gorge”. Continue straight on at the traffic lights (as long as they are not on red!). At the next roundabout, take the second exit, again signposted “Ironbridge Gorge”. At the next roundabout (yes, Telford is a land solely comprised of roundabouts - we get very dizzy here!) take the third exit signposted “Ironbridge Gorge”. At the next roundabout take the second exit signposted “Colebrookdale Museums” . This is the prettiest entrance to the Gorge and its called Jiggers Bank. Now follow the road down into Ironbridge itself. Turn left at the traffic island by Delidale (our local delicatessan) follow this road up to and beyond the Ironbridge itself (you can’t miss it). Come to a small roundabout and take the third exit by the bridal shop. Keep the river to your right and cross at the New Bridge, following the road and signposts for The Tile Museum. You will be turning left immediately over the bridge and following the road past our local pub, The BlackSwan. You then follow the road round the old level cross gates and as it swings left towards the Tile Museum. You then take a little left turn into Church Road and the Trow is on your left with a yellow rose tree by the door. You can park on the road here, or else Ken will show you the back carpark.
