Bed and breakfast bliss in this Georgian brick and flint house near Goodwood and Chichester, at the foot of the South Downs. Welcoming guests and ensuring your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are all comfortably furnished and recently decorated, with modern en-suite shower rooms. Guests speak highly of the varied breakfast. Bread is home-baked using flour from the Weald and Downland Museum, jams and marmalade are home-made using local produce wherever possible. Following on from a choice of cereals, fruit, porridge and grapefruit is a traditional English breakfast, creamy scrambled eggs and salmon on muffins, or American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The colourful cottage garden is available for guests to enjoy, along with an enclosed car park. The village pub, The Anglesey Arms, is a stroll away and serves excellent local food, wine and beer. Perfectly located to enjoy the culture and history of Chichester and Arundel, and to explore the South Downs and the harbours and beaches on the coast. The owners know the area very well and will be delighted to help you plan your visit.
