18th Century Grade II Listed Town House. The Grange is situated in the picturesque village of Thornton Le Dale, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty within the North York Moors National Park. The Grange has recently undergone a complete and sympathetic renovation, maintaining many original features from beamed ceilings to Victorian fireplaces and offers guests an exceptional standard of accommodation and facilities. A very warm welcome will certainly greet you on your arrival and a helpful service during your stay. Our main aim is to delight our guests with a level of service and facilities that is often difficult to find.

Local directions:	The Grange Guest House is on the High Street, a few minutes walk from the village centre. There is some parking to the front of the property, although you are encouraged to utilise our large car park at the rear, which is accessed off South lane. HOW TO FIND US BY ROAD - Thornton Le Dale is some two miles East of Pickering on the main A170 towards Scarborough. Travelling from the South follow signs to York, then take the A64 towards Malton / Scarborough then follow signs to Pickering / Whitby on the A169, Thornton Le Dale is signposted from this road. When travelling from the North, follow signs from Thirsk along the A170 to Pickering, travel through Pickering and onto Thornton Le Dale. From the North East follow signs to Thirsk or enjoy the coast road A171 down to Whitby then follow signs to Pickering A169 then left turn onto the A170 towards Scarborough and Thornton Le Dale. BY RAIL - The nearest rail station is at Malton, which is about a 15 minutes drive from The Grange. A service from York to Scarborough operates at regular intervals. BY BUS - There are numerous bus travel facilities either from York and Malton that connect to Thornton Le Dale.
