Finally I've found the perfect B&B, off the beaten track, fabulous walks from the doorstep for my dog and I. A beautiful, character filled old farmhouse, large room, large bed, own sitting room with breakfast table overlooking beautiful gardens, all on ground floor. Fabulous breakfast. Magnificent.

We can highly recommend Shorts Farm for bed and breakfast, the standards are very high, lovely bedroom and breakfast room. Sarah could not have been more helpful, we were both made very welcome and also our dog. Nutborne is a lovely village in a great situation, and the pub just down the road was very good. We will be returning.

This is the 5th time I've stayed. I lose count. If you wish to stay at the best of the best, luxury being defined as luxury plus home to home, you cannot beat Shortsfarm. The cottage is beyond a dream, the room is beautiful and so cosy, the level of service and the owners are so welcoming. You are made to feel as if you were in your own home. Being a lawyer and on hectic weeks, I treasure my week ends at Shortsfarm. You also have so many amenities on the door step, from Pump classes in Storrington - to riding in Chiltington - and not least the best and most welcoming with scrumptious food pub 2 minutes walk away. The Rising Sunnut Bourne. There are also bikes you can borrow, and you cannot beat a morning ride across the cow fields and country lanes. One to watch is that the cows look at you with some puzzlement as they are not used to seeing London city people up so early. Foremost the cottage is so quiet and peaceful, you cannot but feel relaxed.
