Wind your way through leafy village greens and timbered country pubs of West Sussex and you will come across Mayes Park Lodge in Warnham, a chic B&B surrounded by undulating parkland, old Sussex oak trees and abundant wildlife. This is not your ordinary B&B. In fact it rivals the best boutique hotels, offering comfy nights in a selection of pretty converted brick barns and rooms at the main eco-friendly lodge with all the luxury trimmings. Thanks to owners Hannah and James Clapshaw, Mayes Park bursts with individual character; the beautiful patchwork of tiles in the bathroom, carved wooden bedsteads and elegant wallpaper nod to their quintessentially English taste. Quality beds are topped off with luxurious linen and rooms are furnished with flat-screen TV, iPod docks and free Wi-Fi. Local directions: Sat Nav Users (for The Easy Journey!). Our postcode is RH12 3SG. Mayes Park Lodge is clearly marked when you arrive. Please enter via our white gate which leads to the car park. From London (34 Miles, 50 Minutes). Leave the M25 at Junction 9. Follow the A243/A24 for Leatherhead and Dorking. At the 1st roundabout take 3rd exit (A243) signposted Dorking. At the 2nd roundabout take 2nd exit. At the 3rd roundabout take 2nd exit (A24). Stay on this road heading towards Horsham until you reach Kingsfold. Turn right just before 'The Owl' onto Marches Lane and take the first left onto Mayes Lane. Mayes Park Lodge is half a mile on the left. From Gatwick (17 Miles, 25 Minutes) or Brighton (27 Miles, 35 Minutes). Leave the M23 at junction 11 and take the third exit onto the A264 towards Horsham. Continue on the A264 following signs to Dorking and Horsham. At the Great Daux roundabout take the second exit onto the A24 towards London/Dorking. Turn left onto Bell Road signed posted Warnham and continue to mini-roundabout. Turn right onto School Hill and take first left onto Threestile Road (village green will be on your left). Follow Threestile Road and you will eventually bear right onto Mayes Lane, sign posted 'Kingsfold 2 miles'. Mayes Park Lodge is half a mile on the right. From Guildford (19 Miles, 35 Minutes). Follow the A281 towards Horsham. Turn left at the roundabout signposted 'Warnham and Ockley' onto the Bognor Road A29. Take the second right onto Northlands Road and continue until you reach a T-junction. Turn left onto Mayes Lane signed posted 'Kingsfold 2 miles'. Mayes Park Lodge is a quarter of a mile on the right.
