A Georgian farmhouse set on the edge of the Peak District. The accommodation is located in a wing of the farmhouse and is furnished to a very high standard, 5 Star Gold and also boasts a Breakfast Award. On the ground floor, guests have exclusive use of a very spacious sitting room which boasts views of the garden and has a welcoming log burner for the colder months. A private staircase leads to an enormous bedroom with super kingsize or twin bed option. There is a walk in wardrobe area and beautiful bathroom with roll top bath and large walk in shower. Ideally located to many National Trust properties, Uttoxeter Race Course and Alton Towers.

General facilities: Guests can use a patio area which is located infront of their sitting room, Exclusive use of a spacious sitting room, Storage is offered for push bikes in a lockable shed. Wet coats and soggy wellies can be dried out on the aga after those long walks in the Peak District!
Outdoor activities on site: There is a 5 acre lake situated on the farm, which is used for open water swimming or coarse fishing which guests can use
Activities nearby: Golf course, Two horse riding centres, We are ideally situated for various National Trust properties eg. Sudbury Hall, Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall. Alton Towers, Uttoxeter Race Course and Donnington Race Track are also close by
Local directions: Just a couple of miles off the A50, junction 5. From the north, come down the slip road, and take the 4th exit. Straight over the next roundabout. From the south come down the slip road and take the first exit. The final roundabout take the 2nd exit and head through the village, passing the post office and pubs. As you drive out of the village, just before the T junction, we are the last drive on the right. Come up the farm drive, baring left at the top. Keep heading for the farmhouse, and drive into the well lit concrete yard.
