Holly Cottage is a Grade 2 listed thatched cottage, built in 1673. It has been restored over the last 2 years. It was featured on BBC's Empty Homes Programme in 2011. There are two beautiful double bedrooms both en-suite with TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilites. Loddington is a conservation village in beautiful Rutland countryside. It is near to Launde Abbey, Burley, Stamford, Oakham, Uppingham, Rutland Water. Holly Cottage also has a Tea Room which opens at weekends and Bank Holidays from 10am till 6pm serving Morning Coffee, light Lunches and declious afternoon teas. Homemade Scones and Cakes are always available. The Tea Rooms can open during the week for groups of 6 -20 people. Cream Tea for Guests on arrival.

My husband and i can highly recommend this 'chocolate box' cottage B&B.
It's delightful, peaceful setting in gorgeous rolling English countryside- and a scrumptious cream tea served on our arrival made an excellent start ( homemade cakes, scones and jams).
The accommodation was spotless, with great attention to detail ( we were there for Easter Sunday and were even given Easter eggs!). Our bed was so comfortable that it was hard to tear ourselves away when it was time to leave, and the breakfast was excellent quality- fresh produce and home cooked.
We would most defiantly stay there again.
