Glenmore House was constructed in 1868, designed by the local architect John Melvin for the wealthy William Bailey, joint owner of the nearby Alloa Pottery. Guests can admire many original features including ornate plasterwork and fire surrounds. We are situated in an exclusive area within the town and are close to both motorway and railway. We have 3 double rooms to choose from, and guests can enjoy the 2 large period reception rooms together with a luxurious dining room. At Glenmore House guests really can enjoy the opulence of a bygone age.

I recently had the pleasure to stay at this fantastic house the night before my wedding on the 24th August. Brian and Jackie were amazing hosts and totally took my pre wedding jitters away. I would highly recommend this amazing venue, not just for the house but for the hosts also. Excellent value for money and an out of this world experience.
