Courtfield Road B&B was built around 1906, just into the Edwardian period and it was later changed into apartments. Accommodation is provided in a pretty double room with a new en-suite bathroom and a power shower over the bath. This accommodation is on the garden level of a lovely apartment in South Kensington and breakfast is served in the dining room which looks out on to a lovely patio where breakfast can also be taken in the summer. You climb a few steps up from the patio and walk into a wonderful London garden square with rolling lawns. There are many fashionable restaurants and pubs within walking distance of the property, as are Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. There is excellent shopping in Kensington High Street and Knightsbridge. Close proximity to three of the most renowned museums in London, the Victoria and Albert, the Natural History and Science museums. For the intrepid traveller an ice skating rink together with a Christmas market is a feature of the Natural History museum in the winter. Nearest Subway : Gloucester Road.
